so basically im screwed.. im a really smart kid who is just lazy and doesnt do his homework which makes him get bad on the quizzes.. end of quarter is coming up and i have 7 school days to get my grades up before my mom finds out. my mom expected straight a's and this is what i have: and ps' my birthday is coming up in spring break too so im really screwed..
9th grade
algebra1 : 62 % d
science 9: 84% b
Honors English: 82% b
Honors History:96% a
Student government: B
Spanish: 78% C
Do you think those are good grades..but how do i come out to my mom...ive been so insanely worried for the past week and will be..no clue who to talk to...I WILL PROBLY NOT GET MANY ANSWERS BUT YOU MIGHT AS WELL TRY AND HELp..as you can see i take some advanced classes and i think im doing good..im going to valdez,alaska for a student gov conference...im a good kid but i dont know how to get my grade up this fast..I dont even know my question right now???

You have some work to do!
Consider asking your teacher for an extra credit project or being able to redo assignments or retake and exam.
Algebra 1 really isn't that bad. You may consider tutoring if you're failing through either your teacher, another student, or a private tutor.
From what I can see you like both history and english and science.
You know math and english a completely the same. You can take the conjugate of both a sentence and an equation. That may be a way to motivate you in math.
In spanish try asking your teacher for maybe like an extra credit oral quiz. You recite some lines of spanish or something and get extra credit.. This would be both demonstrating your ability to speak it and your understanding of a sentence structure.
When this semester is over trying using more effort and start with a clean slate... If you are smart as you say.. you can do this with just a little effort! Good luck!

My mother would have killed me with that algebra grade - and she would've almost killed me for the Spanish. Depends on how strict and understanding your parents are, I guess. My mom's foreign, though, she's always been all about school and grades. American parents are so much more understanding. Just explain the situation, maybe cry a little, and point to the English and History grades with a hopeful face.
It'll get better in college.

the real thing 2 do is keep your parents expectations low
its kinda late for you but u still have time
just keep ur grades low and bullsh*t ur way through the whole "talking to" or be good while ur grounded =D
worked for me im failing 2 of my classes and my parents just talk 2 me
ya pretty much just keep the expectations loow =D

remember me i asked you why are you guys so hard to get to know well I'm in the ninth grade too and my grades are a b c d d and something Else i think your report is good just on bad grade make sure you do better next time

my parents are the same. they freak out if i get a B. its soooo annoying. but how the hell could u get a D in algebra? i love algebra. i had a 97%. woot woot
