How should i react to my naked male roommate?

Sorry to keep repeating this question, but no one answering.

I have never had a roomie of the opposite sex and we are close friends. When we first discussed moving in together he laughed and said something like "You'll probably end up seeing me naked alot" and I think i replied with "It's ok, i'm sure you'll see me also.". Anyway, after about 2 weeks I would see him every once in awhile nude going from his room to the shower or I would come home and see him nude in the kitchen getting a drink or something and he would act like it's no big deal. He started watching tv and stuff nude. I have gathered that he is a home nudist and I am ok with that. Lately I have come in and seen him masturbating either while watching tv or on his bed.
My question is this. I'm not sure what to think of this since i've never been in this situation. It doesn't seem to bug him at all. And it doesnt bother me.
Is this normal for a guy to not be shy about this stuff?
Should I stay in my room until he is done

Being naked and unconcerned about it together is cool...there's no shame associated (or shouldn't be) with simple nudity. The fact that you can both be naked around each other in a casual, non-sexual way is a credit to you both.

However, casual masturbation in front of someone else is inappropriate. It takes the nudity thing out of the simply ordinary and puts it into a sexual context, which is not where it should be (unless you both want it to go there...your choice).

I would let him know that you don't appreciate watching him masturbate or altering your behavior by staying in your room until he's done. Insist that he take care of this in private or when he's alone.
