(Pronoun) flew to Lithuania, where he (action verb) this newly open nation.

I can't think up an "action verb" that can fit into the sentence without it being followed by a preposition because of the word "this".

I thought about: "She flew to Lithuania, where he SINGS [in] this newly open nation." ... (I need to add the preposition 'in')

He flew to Lithuania, where he visited this newly open nation.

You have to use "he" because it is used in part of the sentence.
