He was a nerd who lucked out when he got the exclusive rights to the early PC operating system from idiots at IBM who had no idea how much software would be worth. He took a little crappy public domain operating system and tweaked it to go into the first PCs. The rest is rich-man history.

the guy who created mircosoft and is still improving it. was a nerd way back when. the richest guy on earth, or second richest during the odd times when the owner of wal-mart climbs up
