I was just wondering if you are supposed to send the people that are in your bridal party save the date cards and invitation? Does anyone know?

Yes techincally and etiquitely you would send them both to anyone in the wedding and the guests! It is more a tradition and etiquite thing! I sent them to all of ours, EXPECIALLY my save the dates, because I knew they would need it on their fridge, especially the groomsmen! Plus we sent cute magnets, so our bridal party really wanted their own magnet! But if you are concerned with cost, then I have seen people use save the dates for only out of town guests or people who travel alot on business.

Really it is up to you, but as I said if you are asking for etiquite, then yes you send them!

The bridal party already knows when the event is so save the date cards are necessary. I sent bridal party invites as a nice gesture. Lots of people like to save things like that. I did save on postage and hand delivered those to bridal party!! Good luck!

1. Save the Date cards are more for people from out of town. Unless you have someone in your wedding party that lives really far away, I wouldn't send them save the date cards.

2. Invites also, for many people, double as a keepsake. I'm getting married in 6 1/2 months and I'm even going to send my Mom and his Parents invites, we all like do scrap books and stuff. You may not want to go that far, but I would send them to the other people in the wedding party. But you don't have to mail them, it's totally cool to hand deliver them.

I would, even though they are part of the wedding. The invitation usually asks for people to come, and just because they are in the party, doesnt necessarily mean that their spouse or significant other is.

Save the date cards i would have to say no on that- they already know when it will be.

I did. I also sent them to all our siblings and both sets of parents. Then, pay attention to who responds and who they respond for because three people counted my husband's sister in "their" count.
