He is poetic and such, and writes me stories and poems.
He asked me what my favourite flowers were.
He has told me secretive things about himself.
He has called me pretty.
We talk on msn about 3 hrs every night.
Face to Face, he is extremely shy and always smiles around me.
He told me he doesn't care what we do together, he just likes to be with me.
He said he wants to take things slow with me.

there had a time when i was kinda like that guy. here is what i think..
i know how it feels.
first of all, from what ive read, you are the SUN in his life, because you have very nice qualities and you are obviously very pretty. but he wont make any drastic moves because he is extremely shy
he writes poems cause he is deeply infatuated with you and all that infatuation is turning into a genuine liking to you because he is getting to know you more everyday
he asked your favourite flowers cause he is thinkng of buying some for you
he tells you secrets about himself because he trusts you and wants to build a strong relationship between you and him
he calls you pretty cuz i suppose you are pretty and that you are the highlight of his life(for now)
3 hours on msn, means that you can talk to him easily, because he is not face to face with you, so that will relieve his shyness, and build his confidence to talk to you
he is extremely shy maybe because he is inexperienced and he has never got the response that you have gave him from any other girl, meaning that you see him for who he is. or maybe you gave him an chance
he likes to be with you because he cherishes you. he probably wants to deepen the relationship between you and him
he wants to take things "slow" with you cause you are a blessing to him and he does not want to mess up things between you and him
what i can conclude is that he wants you to be his girlfriend, but THAT IS only if YOU want that, he does not mind if you want to remain friends with him but if you get another boyfriend, you will hurt him, and he will annoy your boyfriend.
but give him some confidence by motivating him and saying u like him(only if you like him)...and more chances,so you will get to know him more,for better or worst, guys like this dude is hard to find.
btw, i had a sun in my life as well....

He likes you a lot. But it is apparent that he has some self esteem issues otherwise he would be more direct talking to you in person. Yes, he does want to take things slow with you, because he wants to stay with you for a long time. Sounds like he is afraid he'll do the wrong thing and lose you.
Of course he may be shy in general which is why he uses different ways to get you attention and tell you he is interested in you.

jointly because it may seem that way that is not inevitably genuine. My boyfriend (who I genuinely have been with for over 7 months now) has proved this otherwise. ladies tend to be extra keen and open to share their thoughts than adult males are, so it may appear as if ladies "fall" quicker. whether, my boyfriend developed thoughts for me very quickly as quickly as we met, formerly we had particularly grow to be acquaintances. He then fell very lots in love with me quickly after. I, on the different hand, took a jointly as longer for my thoughts to strengthen. So i think of that it in basic terms relies upon on the guy and the couple. and that i've got time-commemorated adult males who've the two broken up with or been broken up with their girlfriends and have nevertheless no longer dated all and sundry new. whether the girl has had assorted boyfriends considering the fact that. So for this reason, i think of that that is in user-friendly terms a cliche and can go the two way. :)

he sounds genuinely nice...respect his wish..and take it slowly....
he might be so very shy..that speeding things up will scare him away....remember this..he knows himself best.
