You should put on some weight. Check with your doctor. I've heard about 100 pounds for a woman that is 5 feet tall and 5 pounds for each pound after that. Take care.

it is too little and i also have this problem all though i'm not as underweight. sometimes it's a thyroid problem i would talk with your physician and see what they recommend. with me i was recommended milkshakes between meals or weight gainers. nothing worked the only thing that does work is lifting weights which sounds crazy because you would think working out would make you lose it but weight training gains muscle which weighs more than fat. the highest i've been is 120 at 5'1" and i was still in 3/4 pants. unfortunately as a single mother of two i no longer have the time and i'm stuck at about 98 pounds which i hate. i'd much rather be the 120 hell i'd be happy with 105 at this point! i'm 27 and really thought my metablosim would slow down naturally by now if anything though it's gotten worse!

you need to tell us your age If you are 14 that is probably ok. if you are 25, that is a little light. Some people are bulldogs, some are greyhounds. You can't make one the other. Ask again.
