Now the classroom i am in she only has periods 1-3 and then a different room 4-6 and the teacher whos rooms are the exact opposite (has a different classroom 1-3 and that classroom 4-6) is Mrs. Heartz and i ta;led to her and she is going to call Mrs. Herrera to her classroom for 2 min so our class can bring in everything from Mrs. Paul's classroom accross the hall and set up and get ready. It is so exciting but I dunno what else to do besides get a balloon and a sort of pastry. I dont even know what king of pastry (like a mini cake or what??) I also dont know what else to do for her and im scared to tell the rest of the class because they might blab...help please and thank you!

1. Make her a "Happy Baby Day" card in Spanish and have all the kids in class sign it.

2. Cupcakes really work well and you could use pink and blue icing on them...

3. Go to Kmart and buy her some baby bibs and a cute receiving blanket and wrap it up for her. This will not set you back a lot of ca$h and if you wanted, you could collect 50 cents from everyone to cover the cost of the cupcakes and gift.. It would be nice to get her a corsage or flowers for her desk too. OH, a baby book would be an AWESOME gift that she and the baby will treasure for many years to come.... Hallmark stores have the best but you will spend some serious ca$h on it... Well worth it though....

What a very thoughtful thing to do..... You are a very special student....

If you think your classmates can keep a secret maybe you can make a collection to give her a gift certificate to a baby store or buy her a few baby essentials like diapers, bibs, blankets, toys, and put them in a little basket. If you don't trust your classmates, have a close friend help you set up. Balloons and cake sounds fine. Maybe some fruit and juice. Does she have a favorite snack? It's nice that the other teachers are going along with it. Maybe make a large card and have everyone sign it.
Good luck!!
