Pecs? Absolutely not. Bicep curls strengthen...biceps. Where did you get the idea that it works out your pecs? Your pecs only work when you make a flapping (as in bird) motion or you are pushing something away from your chest.

The biceps exert the most force during a basic curl. The bracioradialis and the brachialis also are involved in this movement. This movement is called elbow flexion. The pecs have no involvement.
