No. Nail polish has such strong solvents in it that any fungus would be killed before it touched you. Besides nail fungus is very hard to pass along. It usually can be contacted only by people that have a pre-disposition to it. It starts in the nail bed and it is hard to get down into there

Yes it can. There are many nail shops that have been shut down because they have been passing on fungi to their custmers. If a shop polishes someones nails with a fungus and then does yours, how comfortable will you be?

Not in theory as the chemicals in the nail polish create a hostile environment for just about any fungal or bacterial growth.
