The bridesmaids and groomsmen typically buy their own attire. Some people who have alot of money pay for their bridal party attire because they can. But it is more common that they buy their own. Tuxedos range anywhere from $50-$200 and bridesmaid dresses can range from $80-$350. Usually a bridesmaid dress is no more than $200 so that everybody can afford it. Our tuxedos ended up being $120 and my bridesmaids dresses are $260. It's kind of expensive but I made sure beforehand that everybody would be able to afford it before I went through with it. So it really depends on your tastes. Different designers are also priced differently. So check into that too because that will make a huge difference. Good Luck!

They pay for attire they wear. I have been in 5 weddings and 1 of those the bride's mother bought my attire, but I was also the only one. They just had a maid of honor and best man no attendants or groomsmen. You try to figure out what they can afford. I'm getting married in 2 mos and my bridesmaids did not have $$ for dresses so I paid for them and then when they got tax checks, they paid me back. With the groomsman we were worried 136 was too much for tux, but it was what my fiance really liked so we offered to pay 50 of each and they said they could get it so just talk to your people!!! If they are in your wedding you should be able to have a simple conversation regarding attire and finances!! Good luck!!

The bridal party will generally pay for their own attire. However, in my case, I had two friends I wanted to be in it, but knew they couldn't possibly afford the dresses I picked out, so I paid for theirs. This was done under the table so none of the others would know, but I doubt they would have been upset! It was VERY important to have those girls by my side, no matter how I got them there! College is expensive, I know, I had been there, so I knew they couldn't do it!
My husband just did a tux for a wedding he is in and it was 180.00. An average bridesmaid dress is at least 150.00, generally more like 180, once you pay tax and have alterations. Mine were tea length, custom made of dupuioni silk and cost 240.00. It's all up to what you want and what your bridal party can reasonably afford!

They do, depending an what you would like them too wear that will decide what the cost will be, my daughters bridesmaids dresses were$80.00 each and a tux rental is about $160.00 and the bridesmaid dresses can be very expansive but again it depends on what you want them to wear, Good Luck

typically, the groomsmen pay for their tuxes... (you can get decent ones for $100 or so) and bridesmaids pay for their dresses... (depending on what you choose for style, can be anywhere from $50-300... go for less expensive dresses that they can wear again!)
usually, when the bridal party rents a group of tuxes for the groomsmen, rental stores will give the groom his for free

I've seen it go several ways. the bride and groom pay for all. the attendants pay for their own. the bride and groom pay for a portion of. If you are asking them to pay for their own generally you are looking at $80 for a tux and $100-$150 for bridesmaids dresses. But I am a very smart shopper so anything more to me is outrageous and we like to dress up for everything so yes I have bought priced and rented all of the above recently

Everybody in your wedding party is responsible for their own attire. That is why you ask someone to be in your wedding party, and give them the choice. A reasonable amount for each is around $150.00. If you wanted to help with expenses you could buy the jewelry for the bridesmaids and give it as part of their gift.

Jaxson, hoestly, you're the only one who knows what you want your wedding to look like and so forth, the photos.
Think about it... If you are on a budget wedding then you ask the the bridal party and groomsmen to handle the cost with your colour scheme and theme in mind. Also bear in mind that is 8 out of 10 times done this way.
Most poeple go the cheap way out by renting tux. Personally, I do not believe in that. In addtion, I do not like wearing people clothing much less for wearing something that someone else has already worn.
But your wedding is not about me. It's about you and your spouse.
Be smart. Tux for hire is on the opposite end of the spectrum to Tailored Tuxedos. Again renting a Tux at $140 - $165 for polyester which is ugly, ridiculous and the end result is horribly dressed groomsmen.
Obviously tailored clothing comes with a price tag, but explain to your party that the clothing remain theirs to keep. Most of all the clothing is tailored to fit - in other words made only for them.
At Tailor On The Road the average priced tuxedo ( made in either silk cashmere or wool cashmere) is only $420. Remember that I mentioned TAILOR MADE.
If you do send your party to any other store in and around your city, they will pay around that figure and still have to get the suit tailored to their size (EXTRA MONEY).
A Tux for Hire cannot be tailored for the store/business have to maintain its standard inventory.
Another issue which is mostly misunderstood; the difference between standard inventory and tailor made. The department stores carries only standard inventory (meaning, what you see is what you get).
At Tailor On The Road you get more for your money. You can design your very own style... you can be creative and make it a collaborative and enjoyable experience.
At Tailor On The Road you have more choices in fabric. Not only, but you can get a pattern in many different colours.
I think I have given you enough reason to guide your bridal party to Tailor On The Road. Send your bridal party to our website and we will take care of them in reference to your colour scheme and wedding theme.
We are based in New York City.
