I would like to find a 200 to 500 dollar teacup Yorkie. FEMALE pup please. I would hope for the location to be from Lompoc, CA the furthest to be Santa Barbara, CA. Please do not say any thing about that it's not possible for them to be this price because I've seen them at this affordable price range. Thank You.

Check out http://www.yorkietalk.com
There are people from all over the world, including the states, that would be happy to help you.
There is a forum on that site, and I am pretty sure, that if you post a request to what your looking for, someone would be able to help you in your direction to buy a teacup yorkie.
I use that site myself, because I have a toy yorkie. And it is a great site for you down the road, when you have many questions about owning a yorkie, or just want to brag about you new little friend. Best of luck

Cheap Teacup Yorkies

The reason that the work 'teacup' is used, is to make money. Tiny dogs are in fashion so that term is a clever marketing tool. No reputable breeder will ever use it. Because of this, if you buy a dog from someone labelling it as teacup, you can probably be sure that they dont care if the dog is healthy, only if it is small- to sell it. Some yorkies are smaller than others, but there are no 'teacups' as such.

First, there is no such thing as a teacup anything. Second, for a healthy, well bred, AKC and/or CKC Yorkshire Terrier, you should pay at least $700, really should be closer to $800. Any less than that and you are making a big mistake. If you want a less expensive dog, adopt a puppy from a shelter.

Try yorkie rescue and the yorkie club http://www.ytca.org.

No good breeder sells a teacup anything. It's violates the Yorkie club rules and the AKC guidelines. They are usually poor quality dogs with tons of health problems sold to an undereducated and unsuspecting public that wants an ego dog.

If you can't afford to buy a yorkie from a good breeder, then you shouldn't be getting one. Badly bred yorkies will be VERY prone to VERY expensive problems that HAVE to be fixed. This includes leg breaks ($500 per surgery), knee issues ($500-$2000 per knee), shunts, kidney disease, etc.

I recommend joining a Yorkie Forum and talking with them directly about your needs and your desires. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60&highlight=teacup look like it could be interesting.

Good luck to you. : )

Beware! there are many puppy mills and bad dog breeders out there who sell cheap and produce unhealthy puppies from inbreeding and improper care. remeber the old saying 'you get waht you pay for. if money is an issue your best bet is like the previous answer, go on line and find a yorkie rescue...they need homes and some are even housetrained already, a big plus.
try the following website....they may have what you want
petfinder.com

I would think that a puppy that cheap would come from a puppy mill.

Do you care if the puppy's parents are living in horrible conditions with no medical care-- sores on their feet, urine soaked cages and matted fur?

Because that's a way to cut costs. And puppy mills only care about the money... and, unfortunately, some puppy buyers only care about the money, too.

i don't think you will find one selling for that cheap. they are expensive animals so you may be paying up to $1000 for them or even $2000 for them.

Then get one of those.
If you've seen them for cheap, get one.
What are you waiting for?
