Roughly about 18.2 million in the Wehrmacht. Enough for Hitler to almost take all of Europe but lacking to keep all the land he took, I think the Soviets actually could had if they had Hitler's gear and economical power.

No way. the entire population of the country now is only about 80 million. My understanding is that about 12-15 million served in the Wehrmacht (German Army), but not all at one time. I think the death toll for soldiers was about 5-6 million. I got this off Wikipedia some time ago.

According to wikipedia -
The number of soldiers who served in the Wehrmacht during its existence from 1935 until 1945 is believed to approach 18.2 million. This figure was put forward by historian Rüdiger Overmans and represents the total number of people who ever served in the Wehrmacht, and not the force strength of the Wehrmacht at any point in time. About 2.3 million Wehrmacht soldiers were killed in action; 550,000 died from non-combat causes; missing in action and unaccounted for after the war 2.0 million; and 459,000 POW deaths, of whom 77,000 were in the custody of the U.S., UK, and France; POW dead includes 266,000 in the post war period after June 1945, primarily in Soviet captivity. Approximately 11 million were captured by enemy forces.[citation needed]
That is cut and pasted.

Don't believe all the wikipedia references, any body can edit them to their point of view
Research on a more reliable search engine.
Oh BTW, Germany had 98 divisions of which 36 were classed as unfit for combat

some one is loco as Germany only had less than ninty million people at their highest point, so in order to have 45 milion he would have had to have every male in the country , young and old
then I am not sure he could have made that number,

That sounds a bit big but they were forced to fight as young as ten toward the end.
