I installed Vista, but I have too many compatibility issues. I want to go back to XP. But for some reason my computer did not come with an OS reinstallation CD. What should I do?!!

I have learned from my mistakes! I shouldn't have bought Vista when it first came out!

If XP was "bundled" with your computer, I suggest you gather all identifying information: date of purchase, order or invoice number, your customer number, model and serial number of the computer, etc.

Then, contact the seller to see if he will give you a download. If this fails, go to

Oh, you sorry person. You didn't create a restoration disk before embarking on such a turbulent journey?

See the disks that came with your computer when you bought it. You may be able to install the original configuration from those.

Otherwise, you may be out of luck.
