Okay, when you watch TV, a movie, or listen to the radio, and your hear people talk about Christianity and how great it is, do you feel, that when black people talk about Christ and Jesus, you get a total different feeling from when whites do? I'm not racist or anything, I just kind of realized it. Like, when a white person preaches, it seems more like they're trying to force it upon people. That's how a lot of people I know think of it is as. Do you feel this way?

I have found it to be the opposite and I am white but when I lived in the south,I belonged to 2 different all black churches. I felt a lot more pressure from the ministers there than the white ones. I also am not racist ...I love all of Gods children.

Gods blessings to you! :)

I don't see any comparisons except that some Christians are more emotional and cry easier, both in white and black churches.

I do notice a difference between some churches. Some make me feel like they are inviting me into their community while others make me feel like they are trying to shove me out of my own community. From my limited experience, largely African American congregations do feel more inviting.

It's just you. You alone have this perception. Either you have pierced the veil of mystery and seen farther than all other mortals, or you are stark, staring bonkers.

You must decide which it is.
