work for my landlord. He asked me to get an estimate for the damages, well the estimate was 1300.00 done to the rear of my truck. He claims he is going to pay for the damages and meet me at the auto body repair shop or set up an account with them. I did some research online about this guy and he doesnt even have a liscense. He has a rap sheet about 3 pages long where he has been sued for operating a busniess without a lisecense and he has been in jail and everything. He currently still doesnt have a liscecsen. Should I wait and see if he will pay? My Insurance company wont pay cause I dont have collison coverage. Or is it my landlords responsibilty and she would have to pay with her home owners insurance since is happened on her property?
Please help! Im pulling my hair out!

His total judgements are over 10,000.00. Im not believeing that hew will pay for my truck or pay when we go to court.

Just because he has a rap sheet and no business license doesn't mean he doesn't have car insurance. Don't jump to conclusions too quickly. Get your estimates. Absolutely wait and see in he won't pay and talk to your land lord to see if they won't support you in this.

You could be surprised. Don't pull your hair out just yet...save that for the attorneys!

I joke and say I love to worry about EVERYTHING because everything I worry about never happens (so if I worry about it, it won't happen...get it???) Keep smilin'...it'll do your ulcers good and there isn't anything you can do right now anyway. The only thing you can do is wait.

I am not sure how you legally obtained that much information on that person, except for the lawsuits and criminal proceedings. What licence doesn't he have? He doesn't need a driver licence to operate a back hoe on private property, and most business licences are not listed on-line. He owes for the damage, and if he doesn't pay, you can sue him. Your landlord's homeowner insurance wouldn't respond to the damage, but your landlord may be willing to help settle with the person she hired.

Best bet is to either pursue the landlord because they own the property, and they hired the person to do the work.. I would say go after the driver of the backhoe but it doesn't sound like he has insurance..

Contact him after arranging a quote and get him down to the repairers and take it from there.

Tell him you WANT THE CASH.

I can see the future, and your future is you trying to pick up your car after repairs, and this azzhole nowhere to be found.

He owes you the dough.

If he doesn't pay, your landlord should. If neither does, call a local lawyer.
He'll collect your dough and get his fee from whoever he collects from.
