Squats and lunges are great exercises for your butt.
You can also make it more intense, by also using handweights while you do them.

To get it bigger then you need muscle and fat in that part of the area. Exercising as in weight training will build muscle in that part. Eating more will get that fat in to your buttocks.
Squats, lunges, leg press, leg curls, and leg extensions are good leg exercises, but I suggest you should exercise your whole body for a better look overall.

Now that's what I'm talking bout!!!
Squats and leg press. Also, throw in some adductors (ask someone at your gym) that will assist as well.
Muscle hypertrophy(growth) = 6-10 reps 80% of max weight.
Eat lots of protein.

lunges, squats, running all the way. the idea is to make your butt muscular, but not buff. guys love a tight butt.
