i have just downloaded the internet explorer 7 and it always has windows popping up saying that the internet not working and if i should send the error report or not. either button, it closes the internet. this thing is also making the internet slower for me. i need to uninstall or i will never be able to go on the internet for more than 10 mins. how do i uninstall this thing? please help! im desperate! :(

and if i reboot then do i just loose what i uninstalled or do i loose everything? my dad rebooted and lost every thing. i cant loose everything...i have school work in this computer! :(

Start -> Control Panel --> Add/remove programs
Look for a tab tht says something about removing windows programs. See if it's there. It might show up under the regular programs as well, but usually under Windows programs.

Trying to uninstall by using Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs might say it got erased but it's still there. Windows technically can't remove it. However, you can to Microsoft's website and rollback IE to IE6.

Use add remove programs in control panel, it will revert back to your earlier version.

go to start, control panel, add/remove programs and remove ie7, then reboot and your pc will automatically revert back to ie6
