I don't think so. Canada is a mostly secular country.

it was founded by Christians technically, but they've strayed WAY to far. (I'm NOT talking about what religions are practiced btw)

in Canada, people have the freedom of belief, opinion, religion, as long as it doesn't affect others. So you can say you're Christian or Hindu or Muslim, but you can't actually imply your morals or truths unless they ask.

You cannot go to jail for being religious, just making someone else uncomfortable (such as carrying a sihk weapon, stating what is right or wrong, or performing ceremonies in non-designated areas). By ceremonies, I mean like you can't baptize in a public fountain, you can't ceremoniosly wash in the Rideau canal, you can't burn incense ina no-smoking area

Thing is, Canada likes to be viewed as TREND FORWARD, so they create laws to try and enforce tolerance and a common belief system, not neccessarily adhering to any religious code. Basically, the Supreme Court of Canada (which I heard is atheist dominated) decides on whether a law is passed or rejected, on their own morals.

Canada is awesome-o.

People often use religious terms as curse words because they have been condemned by religion for so long.

That is why Canada is so quiet.
