I have heard that asking out is like taking them on a date somewhere or asking them to become your girlfriend or stuff like tat but i dont know which is which!!!

take it easy man lol, "asking out" is simply exactly how it sounds, just asking a girl out on a date, or as friends which ever ure intentions are. Its the step that leads up to a possible relationship. Its the first step u take, ask the girl out on a date, if u like her and feeling mutual ask her again, then if u like each other it will turn into something more

If your asking someone out, It means your taking them out somewhere. If you want them to be your bf/gf you ask them.
You should spend time with them first. and get to know them. Then decide to ask to take the realtionship to the bf/gf stage.
