¿Qué dijó? Scared about Spanish listening comprehension?

ok i'm a high school senior and in May i'm taking the Ap spanish exam. If you don't know they re-vamped it and have all these new parts. ANYWAY. Today we were listening to some of the practice-book's exercises in class and i am scared to death. (even la profesora looked at me with a worried look)

Please help me find some ways improve my listening skills! Seriously the only way i can understand Everything is if i hear el español despacio.

my friend let me borrow her "Rebelde" dvds and she and another friend speak spanish (but not to me) and even when i eavesdrop it's so hard...

please give me some ideas

go to lomastv.com (you have to sign up for it but it's worth it if you want or need to learn spanish)

it has video clips, commercials, and music videos from real spanish tv. There are english and spanish subtitles but you can shut them off if you dont want to see them. There is also a "slow", pause, and back button. if you see a word you dont know, just click on it and the definition pops up. All the videos are rated 1-5 for their difficulty.

I'm only in spanish 3, but it's helped me soooo much. Its a lot easier to understand spoken spanish now, and i've picked up a lot of new vocab without even trying. seriously try it out. i bet it will help.

Watch spanish novellas. Rebelde is a good one. Just turn on Telemundo or Univision in the late morning/early afternoon. They talk very fast, and you can practice listening.
