It is installed and I have tried everything I can think of. It has worked on this same computer before when my sister had it. Why won't it work now? Help

Have you installed JAVA (JRE). Limewire needs JAVA so install it first.

You may have firewall software on your computer that is blocking Limewire from accessing the internet (i.e. Windows Firewall, Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm, etc.). If you have one of these try disabling them and see if that works.
