i asked here if someone can pray for me to lessen the severity of my asthma. it worked! never doubt the power of prayer. to this day, i'm doing waaaay better.

God bless those who prayed for me. thanks, by the way, for those who did; i forgot who they are.

I've seen a few questions/answers that made me think. I can see why some people don't believe in certain things I can understand that a bit better now. The morons who just insult others and say whatever they would NEVER say to someone's face gets boring but, there are a few intelligent & witty people on here from all differing views who make it worthwhile.

I'm actually better at giving relationship advise. Why, I have no idea. I'd like to think I helped a few people that were in total crap situations. They've picked my answers a few times so hopefully, I do help on some level.

Sure, one time a woman was asking about psychics and Sylvia Browne. She said that she was reading one of Sylvia's books and had a revelation about someone coming over to her house and a little while later it came to pass. She asked if people thought that her mind was being opened to the spirit world.

I posted some testimony from a former psychic who talked about Sylvia and about evil spirits posing as "spirit guides" and told her to be careful becuase it was no great trick for an evil spirit to let her know that someone was on the way to her house in order to lure her into the occult. She e-mailed me and told me that I was right and that her sister had been trying to warn her that this was the case.

I believe that I have changed as a result of asking/answering questions - I feel that I am a lot more open-minded, and I understand the complexities of human nature a bit better.

yep. I'm a Christian and I am very friendly with one of the Athiests on this forum who is a regular. We laugh and joke and make fun of each other, and its all cool -
Sometimes this forum needs to lighten up, and so I'm happy when we can just stop all the fighting for a minute and get a laugh or two in;
its good for everybody.

No. but several times I was taking my time writing a thoughtful answer to what was really a nasty or ignorant or trolling question, only to find when I pressed "submit", the question had been withdrawn....maybe that is a favourable change.

Yes, and it's usually me who experiences the greater change. I believe we are already sharing the experience.
