What if Jesus was just another nice guy?
What if you're right?
What if He was just another prophet?
What have you got to lose?
What if you're wrong?
What if He really is The Son of God?
What if He really did hang on the cross for you?
What if He really did die for you?
What have you got to lose?

Just goes to prove to you that if I were speaking of anyone else, you wouldn't even take note. But the truth hurts, and so therefore to keep from hurting, you need to lash out at the truth. Trying to cover up the deep screaming in your tormented soul. No weapon formed against me shall prosper!

Okay, you want me to answer your question?
If I am right, then I'm going to Bilskirnir (Thor's Hall) in Asgard to drink mead and feast on wild boar with my Heathen ancestors and kin, and my Gods and Goddesses. I live and die with honor.
If I'm wrong, then your God will deep fry me. But, one thing about my faith is that I'd rather die with honor then bow a knee to a tyrant that threatens peoples and demands worship. I still have my honor even if I go down in the flames of your Hell.
And what if I just "believed" in YOUR God? Let's see, I loose my soul, my sanity, and my kin (because after all they are Heathen and would be in Hell right?)...not to mention I my time and my honor and dignity.

Pascal's Wager has been proven false numerous times.
What if YOU'RE wrong?
What if you have not been making the proper sacrifices to Odin?
What if he sacrificed his left eye to drink from the Well of Wisdom?
What if he really is a vengeful God and will make you suffer for your insolence?
What have YOU got to lose?
Please stop using this argument. Not even Pascal used it seriously- he had other, more important, reasons to turn to religion. His Wager was little more than a doodle he wrote on scatch paper that got published after his death.

Pascal's wager lives.
Unfortunately for us.
I may just have a drink anyway.
OK, I'll make you a deal: If I agree he is real, and all the other stuff, will you shut up and get out of my face about it? And agree to stay out of the schools my property taxes pay for? And get off the TV and radio? And take the slogan off the money? And the phrase out of the Pledge? Do all that, and I'll tell you I believe.

What if He really is The Son of God? (aren´t we all)
What if He really did hang on the cross for you? (I didn´t ask him to...God made him do it)
What if He really did die for you? ( seems to me God could have changed his own rules about the animal sacrifice requirement in a kinder more loving way)
What have you got to lose? (It´s not a matter of winning or losing...I just can´t believe God is that cruel)

The problem I have with Pascal's Wager, is that you can't really CONTROL what you believe. You can't just decide one day to believe in God. To accept the wager, you'd have to lie, and I think that if there was a God, He'd probably see through that.
Besides, I could name the top 20 religions of the world. (but I won't take up that much space here) Are YOU going to say "What have I got to lose?" and believe in any or ALL of them? (Just in case...)

Ah yes Pascal's wager again...
*drink*
Now, let's keep in mind that Pascal's wager is based on a false assumption; that god exists.
And since it's clear that there is no god, you lose the wager by wasting your life worshiping an imaginary sky-pixie...
