Come on, are you serious? Have you never seen a dog before? Dogs should have 4 legs. Growing a 5th leg is certainly abnormal, and you know that, or else you would not be asking this question.

lol is it its tail... if its like coming from the butt its a tail most dogs have them and don't worry
if its not a tail its probably a fifth leg and as long as it don't effect him an how he walks you shouldn't worry
if your really concerned it would be best to take it to the vet... that's a pet Dr.

That is really werid. I have only seen that on tv. But i would go ask the person you got the dog from about what is going on, or take it to the vet.
