because the anticipation of not knowing what someone looks like is gone as soon as the person doesn't add up to your expectations.

Cause no hot people go online for a date and when they meet they are disappointed. I'm so hot though i just have a sadistic girlfriend who scares me so this is the only thing i can do.

because you can't get used to someone's 'quirks' without seeing them and LOTS of people LIE like theres no tomorrow on the
www. Thats what face to face dating is for....online dating is NOT the best way to find 'love'....

I think people have certain expectations. They fall for the person on the computer and when they meet, they aren't really at all like the person they *thought* they were. Then they realize that it wasn't at all what they thought it would be.
