Were most creationists home schooled by fundamentalist parents who taught them that evolution and the big bang were the same theory that says humans came from monkeys?

If not, where do they get this stuff?

homeschooled, creationist websites, ministers...take your pick. Most of the time they are just parroting their minister. If they would just pick up a science book and actually READ the thing........

The question should be why are most evolutionist schooled in public schools where they taught the politically correct creation myth of human secularism?
The home schoolers are dedicated to having their children taught the truth where as the public school system is interested in teaching politically correct ideology.
Instead of asking biased questions looking for confirmation of your bias why don't you read some of the books written by creation scientists?
At least that way you would be aware of the sources of their teaching instead of assuming that public school teachers that teach an ideology consistent with Marxist doctrine are always correct. The answer is simple as in your case, the person who controls the question controls the answer.

Oh hell no..........Yes the creationist stuff came mostly from semi illiterate parents. Parents that deny proven science, and rely on Faith. If You can believe a virgin birth of Christ I guess U can believe creation, If U can swallow virgin birth I guess U can be led into any kind of lies. Sorry, these myths were not presented as lies. Science can't prove where man came from. Neither can religeon prove origion. sure, there are lies in science as we know it. Many more lies in religeon. Home schooling got very little to do with facts. Fact is we don't know origon of man. Pick Yer theory..........Faith without works is dead. Faith without facts is equally dead. U choose. in my opinion God is a creation of man. I made my choice U make Yer own.

Oh home schooled I'm sorry. Home schooled children in my state must still pass state board exams so they have to be schooled in the same subjects as regular school kids. I don't think they could pass a test saying people came from monkeys. They just like to say that because they know it's a good way to piss you off. I find it amusing myself as anyone with any knowledge should.

Most of them are taught that by their parents, but it can be in addition to regular schooling. So the kid comes home from school and their parents sit them down and tell them that their science teacher is the devil and evolution is a lie intended to persecute the Christian majority, and that evolutionists think a monkey have birth to a human and all that bullshit.

My father was Catholic,my Mother was Presbyterian.I was let choose the church I wanted to attend.I started out as a Baptist.Been to other Churches also.I believe that one should study the word for themselves and study everything they can find on religion and history.I believe that God created the whole universe.I believe in both creation and the evolution of things over a period of time ,many thousand years.Right in the first verse of Genesis it says God created the Heavens and the earth and that it was with out form and was void. That should explain it all right there.God could have made a perfect world right at start but he didn`t he made it over a period of time. The word void and with out form shows he took time with creation or as we call it evolution.

I wasn't. I heard all the evolution theories clear through college. Then one day life just didn't seem complete, so I prayed & ended up getting a KJV Bible and reading it and actually saw the truth. It's beautiful. You should try it.

Nope. Went to public school, then college, then more college. I have my masters from a university. I have gone to public school my whole education, but I still believe in the creation. It makes more sense to me now then it ever did before. I have learned about evolution, but I don't think everything could just happen by chance. Our bodies are more complex then anything that could just happen at random. Sorry to tell you, but my belief in the creation has been greatly strengthened by my schooling, not diminished by some man-made concept.

Homeindoctrinated would be a more correct term.

But sadly no, around 50% of Americans do not believe that human beings evolved.

cart before horse. Most Christians don't trust confused public school teachers to teach ethics or their form of 'religion' of homosexuality.
