I don't really like it when my girlfriend wears short skirts or low cut tops. She looks dang good in them, but when se wears them she has a bunch of people tryin to look up them, even really old guys it's sick. i just want people to know she has a brain and she has an awsome personality. i swear she is one of the most amazing girls ever. i will do anything for her. i havnt really said anything to her because i dont want her think i'm controling.

your intentions r good. just tell her that people r doing the things u say they r doing and shell probably want to stop wearing the stuff. if that dusnt work than tell her how u feel. u say shes smart so shell understand.

Yes, you do want to control her, and NO you can't. She's a human with her own thoughts and feelings, and if she wants to wear short shorts or skirts, it's her right. You do not have the right to decide for her. Get over yourself.

You could try mentioning that people have been looking at her in a very unflattering way and you just want her to be aware of it. If she has a low self esteem she might do it because any attention makes her feel better about herself.

I think if you tell her pretty much the same way you said it here, she will know it's not a control issue. She'll hear how you are feeling and maybe wear them a little less.

The next time you go out with her, bring a jacket along and put it on her shoulders and this will make her think that you care for her (in fact, you just want to cover her and prevent guys from looking). Hope this helps.

hhmm thats a toughy....
i guess you shouldnt cut hetr totaly off those clothes...maybe she dresses liek that so she can look good for you.
talk to her but let her make up her own decision. if she doesnt care what other people think then i guess you shouldnt either...if you know how amasing she is thats all that matters

you can mention (CASUALLY) that when you're out with her, she is getting leered at because too much skin is showing... and being a guy, you happened to notice...however, you aren't trying to change the way she dresses...
perhaps she likes the attention ? i don't know, i'm not her...
old men have too much testosterone, and should have to have their eyelids taped shut!

Then keep your mouth shut...it IS controling to tell people how to dress...she knows they look and she probably knows it bothers you...she wants to dress the ways she wants to dress...leave her be or move on to someone who dresses the way YOU like.

She knows exactly what she looks like and who is looking at her. Take her how she is or leave her. She may change her dress code for you for awhile but it will not last. She will see it as your problem not hers.
