not if you don't mind and let him try every now and again. Try giving him a spoon while you're feeding him so he's learning while you feed him. I think dinner time is a special time where he can get your undevoted attention and my kids always looked forward to it.

Yes. He should have developed enough motor skills by now to feed himself. If you don't stop now, when will you? 5, 8? 12? Go to school with him so you can cut his lunch into bite sized pieces?
Tell him he's going to eat like a big boy from now on, take him to the store to choose his own fun kiddie silverware and dishes, and let that be the end of it. He'll eat when he's hungry.

by 2 he should be feeding himself unless he has some sort of physical problem that doesnt let him....by around their first birthday they should be eating finger foods and trying to use a spoon/fork.....i know all kids are different but all mine were feeding themselves by 18 months. i had a friend who still fed her almost 3 year old, she went in the hospital and he stayed with me......i refused to feed him and he picked up the fork and fed himself....and never let his mother feed him again, maybe its not that your son cant do it but maybe your not letting him try

I assume you mean, is feeding him yourself, as opposed to allowing him to self-feed, okay. By two, he should be self-feeding, unless he has a medical condition which would prohibit this. If you continue to feed him yourself, he will not learn self-sufficiency and the coordination that it takes to eat by himself. He should be able to sufficiently use a fork and spoon with little spilling by this age, and with you helping him, he won't have the chance to develop his skills.

Breastfeeding? No, it's not that unusual. You should start to ween him, though, before you get comments. If you mean YOU are feeding him instead of himself, it's not bad, but you should really get him to do it himself. Many toddlers will resist taking on things like that because they prefer mommy to do it. He needs to learn that he needs to do it.

Feeding him bugs isn't a good idea, but you don't specify what you are feeding him so it's difficult to say

Do you mean breastfeeding? If so, I don't think it's horrible to breastfeed a 2 year old. You might want to start thinking about weaning sometime soon, though.
