If you want your hair to grow faster than usual you should use natural products like coconut oil But just plain oiling of the hair does not produce any results. Oil has to be massaged into the scalp. It has to be slightly warmed before using it. The best way is to take a few spoons of oil at the fingertips and after parting in the hair, apply it gently to the scalp and all over the hair. After applying the oil, the scalp should be massaged lightly in a clockwise and then in an anti clockwise direction. This helps increase blood circulation in the scalp and help stimulate hair follicles, which help the hair to grow. leave the oil in ur hair for 1 hr Conditioning treatments with henna, at least once every week, will help to restore the damage and strengthen hair. Henna not only conditions hair, but also improves the texture.

I think I've seen those hair growing things in walmart or cvs, but I would really have to say wait just two weeks- my mom always said the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks- so wait and see if it grows on you a little. But I think two inches a month might be wishful thinking

Take vitamins, eat well, get plenty of rest. Keep your split ends snipped and condition. What a great person you are for donating a beautiful asset. If you are really desperate...extensions. I saw an ad today for Jessica Simpson clip on hair on a home shopping channel.

They have hair growing products at pharmacies, and wal-mart that i hear work pretty good. Also it help so have a good diet with lots of fruit. And stay active, that makes it grow fater to. And dont believe the whole "if u cut your hair i'tt grow faster!" myth, cuz your tips dont have anything to do with your roots. Good luck. And i'm glad u werent selfish and gave up your hair, that was very sweet.

doubtful.. average hair growth is 1/2 inch per month. that is an average of 6 inches per year. that's average.
eat healthy foods...keep your hair healthy and moisturized to prevent breakage. trim the ends every 8 weeks so the ends...they do split some even in the healthiest of hair...so trim them to prevent more splitting and breaking. peace

well, i want very long hair 2. and what i did was bought horse shampoo and it rlly worked. my hair is growing like 1 inch every month. i dunno if u can make it grow 2 in. a month. but on average ur hair grows half an inch every month, but w/ this horse shampoo my hairs been growing 1 in. every month. u have to massage the shampoo in your hair, massage your scalp. and any conditioner is good. and also, the more u brush your hair (by your scalp) the faster it grows. well, GOOD LUCK!!!

Regarding a previous answer on biotin...biotin is for your eyes. Any kind of vitamin will help, or appear to help in many areas, as they are vitamins. As for true growth, quick, pre-natals are the key. Be careful to follow recommended dosage as not to get too much iron in your system.
