Didn't she say 'putting words in her mouth'? That means that you are trying to mind-read and guess what is in her head. You might find you are saying things to her like, 'Oh I know why you said blah and blah ...it is because ... blah'. In a sense you might be trying to tell her how to think. Back off a bit and listen to what SHE has to say!

She means you are reading into what she is saying and completly changing the meaning of what she said. Here is an example- girl ask-- do you like this outfit guys say- ya it is cool whatever-- girl in her head is going overthis in her head and her decision on what you really said is---- " whatever everything you wear is the same and it all looks like crap--- seriously. So stop trying to find the meaning behind her words----- and remeber actions speak louder than words.

It sounds like the kind of thing you would say in a fight...
What it means is, she feels like you are implying that she's said something that she actually hasn't. Or you are kind of twisting her words to make her sound guilty. It might sound like you're kind of interrogating her. Can also be worded as "putting words in her mouth"

It means you are trying to put words in her mouth that she didnt say. Let her finish her thoughts and dont speak until she is finished and she will quit saying it.

She probably means your taking words out of her mouth, meaning she thinks you aren't fully listening to what she is saying and only assuming what she is saying. She thinks you are twisting her words, meaning she thinks you aren't fully understanding what she is saying to you and making up what it is you think she is saying.
