i was deployed to foward operating base echo in diwaniyah, iraq about 2 years ago. i was hoping someone had the history on this base before the 2003 invasion. not much on the internet about it and for some reason i never asked while i was there. any information would help.

i just want to know what it was used for. how is that a security issue? bigger bases have that information available on the internet, it's just it's a really small fob.

I did a google, and got nothing from before the invasion. Perhaps you could check with MI or maybe write DIA? Just a shot in the dark.
