federal and state tax check ?

is there a website i can go to to check were the loaction of my checks are currently at. kind of like ups were you can put a tracking number in and it will tell you were the location is

You can find out the status of your refund at www.irs.gov, but you cannot "track" the check to see where its location is.

For federal you can go to the irs website and click on individuals then there is a link to track your refund. You will have to know the exact amount you are getting back and you social security number. For state it depends on which state you live in but you should be able to call a tax place and get the phone number you can call to track that.

I know you can go on www.irs/gov and check the status of your refund, you have to have your ssn ready and the amount of your refund.
