she told me it was legal

this does not sound like a good situation. she asked you for a date? or like you said "hey, that movie looks good" and she said "oh, maybe i'll take you." even that situation is questionable. its illegal and yeah, i saw you're turning 14 in 2 months but in order for this to be ok, you'd need to be turning 18 at least. and with the big age difference, you are not going to be too happy. shes 23 which means shes able to drink, drive, pay for things all because shes in a different stage of life. don't be in such a rush to grow up, before you know it, you're old and paying bills. theres plenty of time for being old, enjoy your time as it is now. use this to make you more confident, if a 23 year old thinks you're cute, you can def score a girlfriend your own age.

She is to old for you. It's not the amount of years between you that is wrong because it's really not. The point is, you are still only a child. She is SUPPOSE to an adult. Asking you out was very inappropriate, kidding or not. That was wrong of her and if I were your sister i would rethink my friendship with this girl. That would be considered child molestation. I know you are becoming a teenager but i don't care if you are sixteen. A twenty something woman has NO business asking a 13-14 yo out. If you were 23 and she was 33 I would say go for it, but right now, at your age, stay away from her.

I think she is playing a bit with you. Because she knows that you are a bit young for her. You don't have a lot in common I think. I mean, you don't have the same interests, kind of life ( disco, going out...).

And as you are still under 18 she could have problem for going out with you with justice if in your country the rules are just like in mine.
