If I lay on my left side, my right hand will fall asleep and vice versa. It is not under anything, just laying out to the side. It only happens when I lay on either side, not when sleeping on my back. I have no issues any other time, only when sleeping.

Any ideas what can cause this to happen? It's been about 2-3 years now.

Thank you.

I do not have high blood pressure, but do smoke. The only thing wrong with me health-wise is high cholsterol.

This is a major issue and you should see a Doc ASAP. I'm taking a health course and my professor said if your left hand is numb you may have heart problems. So go see a physician.

Poor circualtion. You should go and have some tests done to find out why. That could be an indication of a heart attack or stroke. Do you have high blood pressure?

My hand does that too and I really have to watch my salt intake. I usually look back on the day and say yup to much salt.
