I sort of kind of know how you feel because me sisters call me a pig, porker, or gorda(fat). I know I'm not fat, is your wiehgt considered normal or what? But hey, who cares. If you feel good about yourself being the way you are, then why worry about what others think or say? If you're happy being skinny or fat, then other people should respect that.

"i understand mothers try this" - genuinely, a competent mom does not do this. it particularly is a parent's activity to construct their babies up, provide them self assurance and self assurance. needless to say - your mom has subject concerns with herself and is taking it out on somebody that she perceives as weaker than she is - you. you're 15 - 5'2 and 180lbs - so what? Weight does not dictate attractiveness. Are you wholesome? Do you have an incredible character? those are issues to economic corporation on - no longer your shallow mom's assessment of "nicely worth". additionally - is your mom a great variety? Is she some "surprising attractiveness"? I extraordinarily doubt it - otherwise she does not tear you down lots. the subsequent time your mom calls you fat - attempt to no longer take it to coronary heart. you're youthful, wholesome and pleasing. She's gruesome on the interior and that's lots harder to therapy than a pair of better pounds (which do no longer advise something, besides). common, you are the winner. sturdy success!

sometimes family feel like they can say whatever they want to, and sometimes they don't realize that what they say really hurts. I would seriously talk to each family member separately and ask why they say such a hurtful thing to you. You might find that they are hurting over something else, or don't have self confidence in who they are as a person.

This makes me sad. I can't believe you live with people who think it's O.K. to call you a name. This is horrible. Please talk to your school counselor and ask them for advice. Your mother should be ashamed of herself. That is so cruel.
Don't ask anyone if you're fat. It doesn't matter. It just sounds like you're looking for compliments or obssessed with your appearance.

you're probably not fat. just a family thing, like for example. My brother isn't fat, just a little bit chubby. and i constantly bothers him, asking him "why are you eating fat#@$?" pretty inappropriate, but i guess its just a family thing. i dont think anyone else would call him fat, cause he isn't.
