Dont think your mum is being mean by making rules, she just probably loves you more than you can understand right now. You are only 10 remember, well almost 11. One day when you've grown into an adult and even maybe have your own kids, believe it or not you will more than likely be just like her (even if you think or promise you wont)
Times have changed, the world has become a much unsafer place and she proably is trying to keep you at home where she knows you are safe.
Maybe you can make a deal with her and go out during the day on weekends or after school with friends, i think you are a little young to have a boyfriend anyway and trust me having one anyway is to much trouble, go out and have fun with your friends. Enjoy yourself befors you have to worry about boys

Your mom loves you. Maybe you should just trust her. You are 10 and if she doesn't want you dating, I think that is totally fair. I don't want my kids dating until they are 14/15. Maybe right now you see it as your mom trying to rule your life and that she is being a ***** but, that is not true. It's not easy for your mom to have to be strict.
I rememebr hating my parents when they grounded me or wouldn't let me go out late when I was 12 but now I know that, you don't have to be in a rush to grow up. Being a kid is cool and in a few years and for the rest of your life, you'll have to be a grownup, on your own, making hard decisions, dating, having sex
So, don't be in such a rush to grow up. Enjoy and when you're a bit older, your mom will let you go to the movies and come home later

you are a little young for a boyfriend, 10 is really young. and the staying out thing, it fades. 7 o'clock is kinda early, but some every parent is different, some are more paranoid than others. i would wait for a boyfriend because i swear to you, it'll cause you more drama than you know and staying out past 7, it's not ok because you're only 10! mature a little more and then maybe she'll give you more freedom!

hey :-) I know it feels like it's not fair and that it sucks but you will thank her later. My mom never let me go out alone with friends till i was much older than 11. I thank her now for raising me to be a good and responsible person. You can't see it now but you are too young for that and your day will come soon enough. I'm 26 btw.

Only because you are 11 and she loves you and does not want anything bad to happen to you... She is your protector now because she knows the world out there can hurt you.. She just wants you to grow up safe, thats all..... At least you have a mother that cares.. There are so many 11 year olds living in orphanages and have no one that cares about them at all.. You are very lucky so just for now go along with her and be happy.

well ur mom is right. 11 is too young to go out with. she might let u go to the movies witha group and a chaperone. Listen to ur mom ok she knows best. and u should start with groups then when ur like 14 maybe, she might let u start going out with a guy be urselves. u never know.

Just remember that you ARE 11.
And it might seem like you're amazingly old right now, and mature, but you're not quite there.

Just don't grow up too fast, enjoy being single, without a boyfriend, and try to be mature and understand WHY your mother says those things.

However, 7 o'clock is a bit early. I say 9's good.

U have plenty of time for boys. I don't see anything wrong with you going to the movies with your friends as long as there is a parent with you.
