How you metabolize alcohol depends on a variety of factors; your age, how often you drink, and whether or not you've eaten shortly before or while drinking, among other things.

Sounds like you're binge drinking though (shots AND beer? yech!). There are much more sophisticated ways of consuming alcohol. Beer and shots included. If you are old enough to drink, try rice wine (Saki, often served at sushi restaurants), some tastier shots, or some nice stout lagers or micro-brews. If you're not old enough to drink, you'll have to stomach the cheap-o keg beer and liquor stolen from your parents' cabinet until you can get into the bars!

Best of luck. Don't worry... you'll get that hang over sooner or later, all you have to do is over indulge. I wouldn't make it a goal if I were you though!

How long in between did u drink them? You're short and skinny...like me when I was younger. If I had of drank that, I would've been in the floor. Are u a frequent drinker? I mean, do u drink all the time? You don't mention ur age but I can guess either high school or college. When ur young, u can manage the hangovers....it's when u hit ur late 20's-early 30's, u can't handle them like u used to. Girl? You need to learn how to space ur drinks out. Take this from an ole woman...I'm 51 going on 21. Take care of urself and don't do anything stupid. Been there, done that and still drinkin' to this day. Beer only. Also, watch what u drink and keep exercising. Alcohol can put that weight on before u know it. Went from 98 lbs. in hi school to 167 now. That's counting having babies and all. Have a good day and watch what u drink.

Sometimes hangovers take awhile to catch up to people. I didn't get a single one for years and have only had one real genuine hangover in my life. (knock on wood). Sugar gives you horrible hangovers, and you didn't consume much at all between your two shots and two beers. Dehydration is also a factor. Well liquors also tend to cause unpleasant side effects the next day. Count your blessings for not having any but be assured that they will catch up to you someday. Hopefully later rather than sooner.

Hangover is usually a sign of dehydration. Your two beers had water in it too, which could help you prevent a hangover. Also depends on what you ate before and after. I can have 4-5 drinks on certain days and feel drunk, on other days I could drink 11-12 drinks without a problem.

Hangovers are a form of dehydration. I try to drink one glass of water for every two beers so I don't have one. It's worked so far. I guess you didn't drink enough to have you pissing every fifteen, twenty minutes.

I have NEVER gotten a hangover, and I drink Everclear (195 proof) straight with very little effect from it. It could be in your tolerance, which yes you are born with a tolerance, especially if alcoholism runs in your family.

particularly in youth, your body should be very well hydrated, the most major side effects of hangovers have to do w/ dehydration, most nobody i knew got hangovers untill they were in there early twenties, *i have woken up drunk before i ever truelly experienced a hangover*

And how much time elapsed while you drank?? Did you guzzle or pace yourself? Did you go to sleep? No sleep, no reason for much of a hangover. How much food did you have? All are factors to each person's ability to handle their alcohol.
