Right when you enter the main gate entrances given the tickets and all, go through the left side of the mini tunnel which takes you underneith the train station,... and as you walk straight on your left side pass the information kiosk is the "City Hall" go through there and let them know its your birthday and they take it from there. If you pass the firestation to where all the shops are you went to far.

Bullridin.. is correct! City Hall, located just to your left after you go under the Disneyland Railroad is where you can request a free Disney Birthday button! You can also purchase a fun Disney birthday cake hat from the hat shop, which is just across the street by Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

Go to Guest Services. As you enter the park, make a sharp left. It's right there on Main Street, next to the Fire Station.
