how could you be all-knowing, and all-powerful, yet have feelings and traits. this god fellow sounds like a machine to me. i personally dont believe it possible to know everything in the first place. but how could he have a personallity, and display such human characteristics like he does?

He doesn't, but he does.
An all-knowing deity would KNOW everything. But if he were not also all-present, he would not know what it is to be at some place at some time, so by definition, he must also be all-present to be all-knowing.
In addition, in the same way you say that an all-knowing being "knows everything", rather than "could know anything", you would have to say the same about all-powerful (God DOES everything, rather than God could do anything).

If God is all-powerful, then everything MUST exist, somewhere, somewhen, including you and me. In that sense, and in that there are a multitude of Gods, devils, etc. that MUST exist, to that extent he has all personalities, while as a whole, he has none.

May be too much for a general public discussion, but I'm happy to explore it further with anyone with a modicum of actual training in logic. There's more, but I'd hate to take up too much time (too late?).

He displays human characteristics because he was invented by humans who, of course, had no experience with omniscient beings. I don't know that omniscience necessarily means not having a personality, but it does mean that things like 'tests of faith' would be absolutely pointless.

Jesus was God in human form. Read the gospels, which accurately portray His life. He always displayed the appropriate personality style (which I am well versed in.) at all times.

God is omniscient enough to know exactly how to appear to us at all times.

If you could discover what you are like at the core of being, you would have your answer.
