There is one simple way... crate him/her. That is the best way to do it because dogs dont pee or poop where they sleep. Also limit the amount of food and water that you give and only give him/her about 30 min to eat then remove the food that will decrease the amount of stool. Puppies start bein able to "hold it" around 12 weeks. I hope this helps! Its gonna take alot of work but just be patient and make sure you do lots of praising after it goes "potty"!!

When we got our dog (lab boxer mix) neither my husband nor I knew how to housetrain him. I would take him outside every half hour or so and encourage him to "pee". The vet recommended at night to cage him so he wasn't going all over the place. We decided against that though and I bought doggie pads that I placed in the areas he seemed to prefer going in. This was only at night time. When he does go pee outside make sure you praise him silly and give him a treat. He will eventually connect the praise and the cookie to peeing outside. Have patience--rottweilers are smart dogs and he'll get the picture quickly if you are consistent with him. Good luck

The best way I know is to kennel train the puppy. Leave him in his kennel until you are ready to take him out. At least every two hours. If u feel uncomfortable about doing that do try the every two hours without the kennel. Also watch for any sign of sniffing when there is no food around, more than likely he is looking for a place to relieve himself

after each meal and whenever you think about it. put the pup in the same spot to go. Praise when they go. being 3 months old though, maybe already set in ways, but just be patient, you will have accidents, but never rub its nose in it or smack it, just heaps of praise when it does good.

Its all a matter of timing and consistency, along with a kennel crate.Remember, what goes in must come out sometime.

Crate training helps as dogs don't like to soil their bedding
