I got everything I needed to make my own invitations, RSVP cards, thank you cards, place cards and also program paper at the link below. Everyone thought they were professionally done. I even made the printing one of the colors in the invitation paper. After you click on the link, go to "products". I'm sure you can find something you like. I can send you the files I used to do mine if you email me with your email address. Yahoo Answers doesn't let you send attachments. My email address is n8ivca@yahoo.com. As far as the picture... I have no idea, but you can probably do it with PhotoShop. Best Wishes!

You can purchase printable invites just about anywhere no days!! Wal-mart, Meijer, office supply stores, hobby lobby! Usually whatever invites you buy there is a website on the box. Go to that website and it walks you through step by step. There are sample pages included in the kits. The kits include invites, RSVP, & envelopes for all. I printed mine and have received many compliments on them. Actually the 3rd set of invites I have done. Helped my friend and sister in law print theirs at my house. You just want to make sure you have a good printer and pay attention to whether you printer is ink jet or laser jet then buy invitations apporpriately. Talking w/ another bride we were talking about invites and she paid over $500!!!! I paid 160 for 100 invites, rsvp, envelopes, address labels, seals, ink, & stamps!!!!!!!!!!! hell of a deal!! Shop around find you best bargain. I shopped for a month before I bought anything!! You can you address labels to save on Caligraphy!! You can use any font you like most labels have Microsoft word codes right on the package. I used foil return address labels to add a little class w/ cooridinating seals!!! Good luck!! Just remember be patient, take your time, & have fun!!! The worst part is stuffing all those envelopes but invite a couple girlfriends over and go to town!!!!!!!

I don't know that I would suggest making them all completely yourself, unless you want something you can not find.
Places like Michaels and AC Moore have DIY kits that come with the paper for the invite, response card and the envelopes. All you have to do is print on them and put them together. That's what I used- it's really easy.
I bought mine with a coupon for 50% off or something. I spent like 35 dollars on 100 invitations.

Walmart baby!!! In the craft section of walmart they have all these ivitations that are do it yourself ones. For 40 invitations it is like 15 dollars. Alls you really got to worry about is the ink in your printer. I am getting married in september and I have been shopping around and that seems like the cheapest way to go and it looks just as nice as buying them from like a printing store or a bridal or tux store. Sorry I don't know about the the picture thing.

Staples and Target sell invitations that you can print yourself.
As for the the photo, I don't know if I understand. If you want to take a regular photo and superimpose the wedding attire onto the people, than you need a program like photoshop or corel. Do you have any friends that are in marketing or graphic design?

photshop is godly!!! but it's a little tricky to learn at first. your local college (even a comunity college) will most likely have a graphic design program, they could help you with making them, for much cheaper than a professional, even most BOCES/ vocational school have grpahics design (that's where i learned!!) that they could do it for free. at least our teacher would have 'comissions' for us to work on, and then the person who wanted our help would pick their favorite. we were never paid for it because it was through school, and while we got the experience, the customer got their project made! another program for doing photo manipulations is paintshop, which is similar to photoshop, but i beleive is less expensive.
microsoft word and it's clipart and word art can be used to make invitations. craft stores sells kits with all the paper and vellum to use word programs to print the invitaiotns. they're simple, and pretty!! and you can use coupons and sale to get the kits for not very much.

We went to Hobby Lobby and picked out paper that matched our theme and then thicker paper to make RSVP cards and direction cards. We printed them off our computer and we save a TON of money!!!

Southworth; they're the ones that supply the big office stores with the invite blanks. Do it from their site or CD.
