kitchen sink is fregadero (you know fregar to scrub and... another thing)
a sink in a bathroom is lavabo (like he said) or lavamanos
(all are masculino)
I fricking hate this word, and only discovered that it was lavamanos when i was reading "Tuck Para Siempre". This girl even told me that her mom (who speaks Spanish at home) just switches up and says "el sink"

It depends, but usually ...
lavabo = when it's like a wash basin, say in a bathroom
fregadero = when it's a sink you wash dishes in
hundir = to sink, as in "to sink a ship" - you can also use "naufragar" in the same sense.

But you mean as a verb or as a noun. In case you need it as a verb, please tell us in which context, as you may know words have many deffinitions.
Anyway, as a verb it can be: hundirse, descender, declinar, hundir, enterrar, invertir, meter, olvidar, etc
as a noun: lavaplatos, lavatorio
Good luck!
