That is a reasonable question and WHEREVERyou look in the world there is crime, hatred and trouble. Often it is the innocent who suffer. Some people blame God. Theyu may say::If there is a God, why does he permit all these terrible things to happen?"Yet, who are doing these wicked things to others? It is
people not God. God condemns wicked acts. In fact, much of
the suffering on earth would be prevented if people obeyed God's laws. He commands us to love. He forbids murder, stealing, fornication, greed, drunkenness and other acts of wrongdoing that cause humans to suffer.(Romans13:9); Ephesians5:3,18) God made Adam and Eve with a marvelous brain and body and with the ability to enjoy life to the full. He never wanted them or their children to suffer or have trouble.
It was Satan the Devil who startted wickedness on earth. But Adam and Eve were also to blame. They were not so weak that they could not resisted when the Devil tempted them.
They could have told Satan to "go away" just as the perfect man Jesus later did. (Matthew4:10) But they did not. As a result, they became imperfect. All their children, including all of us, have inherited that imperfection. which brought with it sickness, sorrow and death.(Romans5:12) But why has God permitted suffering to go on?
A person may at first think that there could be no reason great enough for God to allow all the human suffering that has been experienced over the centuries. Yet, is it right to reach that conclusion? Have notparents who truly love their children permitted them to undergo a painful operation to correct some problem? Yes, the permission of temporary suffering has oftemn made it possible for children to enjoy better health later on in life. What good has been done by God's permission of wickedness?
The rebellion against God in the garden of Eden raised an important issue or question. We need to examine it in order to understand why God has permitted wickedness. Jehovah told Adam not to eat from a certain tree in the garden

It`s a test of our faith. We walk through this world where good and evil can be-fall both Christian and non-Christian a like.In the new world we will serve God and there will many different jobs that we will be assigned to do.Some greater then others. The Bible says that the last will be first and the first last.God created all things both good and evil, sickness and pestilence. As time is different for God,thousand years is like a day to him.No man has ever lived a thousand years. The promise was for eating the fruit of good and evil that they would die that day. What I`m trying to say that in Gods eyes we`re only enduring the trials here for a day. With a new body time will change for us and we`ll live for ever with out evil, sickness and anything else that makes our life's bad here.

I understand your wanting to direct this question at Christians, since there are many who are very pushy about appearing to have all the answers, but the truth is that most Christians will be the first to admit that they do not have all the answers. I grew up disenchanted with Christianity and then came to the realization that I would rather believe that God sent his son to experience human suffering exactly so God could better understand what we are going through. But the part about suffering for me comes down to a choice between good and evil. If God didn't leave it up to us to choose good. We would be no better then robots. What kind of loving creator would build an army of robots? So God gives us free will. Now I am not one of those Christians who believes if someone suffers that they must have done something to deserve it. Sometimes suffering happens to innocent bystanders. This is just one of the downsides to creating beings with free will instead just creating robots.

There is a place in God that there is no sin, sickness or death. It is the mindset of Jesus Himself, the mind of Christ. The problem we have is that we are not operating full time in that mindset because the natural mind is something we have been carrying since the original sin of all Humankind. We must be, not only born again, but we must take on the mind of Christ and stay in it. That is something that not many men have achieved and maintained for long. It is avalible and the battle comes in the soul realm as we either take direction from the flesh or we do as we are suppose to do and take direction from the spirit man that is a reflection of God. If we can stay totally in the mind of Christ then nothing can touch us. It is a full time job, not just a Sunday religious thing.

There have been volumes written on the subject. There is no simple answer other than that we live in a fallen world, and everything is tending towards corruption. It says in Romans Chapter 8 that the whole of creation was made subject to vanity, but that God has also extended a hope to every person, that he can escape the hopelessness of the natural order of things through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have a promise of eternal life. (See John 5:24).
So this is the general reason why there is suffering. The individual reasons are much more varied. Some suffer because of others sins - like the baby who is born to a crackhead mother; some suffer for their own foolishness, like the smoker of 40 years who contracts emphysema. Some suffer because of ignorance. Some suffer because of carelessness. Some suffer because of their own sin. Some suffer for reasons unknown, some suffer for the sake of others and some suffer by the sovereign will of God - like Job.
It seems to me the wisest course of action is not to try to figure everything out, but just recognize that is the way things are, but then know that there is a God in heaven who suffered Himself on our behalf, so that we might escape eternal suffering, which is the inevitable destiny of all who die in their sins, who fail to lay hold of the hope set before them in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God does not allow bad things to happen, rather, God allows us to make our own decisions (Good or Bad)
God tells us not to commit adultery, not to steal, not to hate, not to covet and not to worship Idols. He tells us these things because He knows the far reaching consequences sin has and He wants to spare us from all the War, Poverty, Crime, Disease that are the direct consequences of our actions.
God allows us the freedom of choice, He will not force Himself on any individual or society. When God chooses to bless us and we tell Him "No Thank You" "Go Away" He graciously moves away from us and takes all His blessings and protection with him.
Israel struggled with this all throughout the Old Testament and they still are struggling with their unbelief to this day. Fortunately God says that when He returns: All Israel will be saved.
God clearly laid out His guidelines for us all to have a happy and contented life. To prosper and always have plenty.
He also tells us what the consequences of sin will be in our lives.
We choose whether or not to accept Gods truth and follow Him or reject Gods truth and suffer the consequences.
If there was no sin in this world, there would be no consequences of sin and this world would be perfect.
God Bless You. Peace.

It's like this, a lot of people want God to make everything like it was back in the Garden of Eden and then they want God to get out and leave them alone. In their hearts they are basically committing the same sin as occurred in the Garden. But God has given us the gift of his son Jesus so that we who believe can achieve what each person wants with God and have eternal life after we have suffered for a while in this fallen world.
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
"Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
5 And he who was seated on the throne said,
"Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
God mitigates the suffering that goes on in this world through governments and divine intervention although you could probably pull up case after case and ask "Well where was God at this time?" But Jesus had a reply to people who came to Him with such questions.
Luke 13:1 There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And he answered them, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? 3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? 5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

First of all, God can NEVER do evil. So, anything evil that happens has nothing to do with God. Unfortunately, the earth is the the enemy's territory and heaven is God's. Why doesn't God intercede? Firstly, the bible says that our lives will be filled with trials, so we MUST endure pain in suffering in our lives, just as Christ did when he died for our sins. Secondly, it is fruitless to even try to figure out "why". The bible says in Matthew: "My ways are not your ways. My thoughts are not your thoughts." So, we have no right to even compare our thoughts to God's. However, the bible also says that God will take any bad situation and work it out for the good of those who believe. When we experience a trial, we only see what is in front of us. The Lord is working it our for our own good. The key is to be faithful, patient and hopeful = God has a good plan for each of us and He will fulfill it in HIS own time, in HIS own way.

It is because when Adam and Eve sinned, sin entered the world and that is where it came from. They did not commit the first sin, but they have sinned, so therefore, they are not blameless. Suffering is a result of sinful behavior, or in some cases, the way God matures His people. To answer your question though, God HATES sin. In fact wrath is God's intense hatred of sin! But sin entered the world when Adam and Eve didn't obey the commands the Lord had given them.

Sin and suffering did not happen because of the myth of Adam and Eve. It happened because when our ancestors, the first cave people, had enough intelligence to know right from wrong, decided to sin. Suffering is here because we are all a part of nature. It is normal to suffer. We have cells in our bodies which die every day. God allows it because if God did not respect our free will, we would all be robots without the capacity to choose good over evil.
