I know that George Harrison used similar lines in his song, "All Things Must Pass." I believe, however, that he got the lines from somewhere; could it be a Hindu or Buddhist saying?

It may be an eastern religioun quotation. It could also be a loose translation from the Rabelais (c1492-1553) quote "All things move to their end"
