i really like this guy, and im so shy i cant talk to him because i get nervous and im sure he knows that by now it seems like hes okay with that. but we text all the time. and i really want to move forward, with this, but im afraid to ask if he likes me. should i send him a text message and say "do you like me? cuz i like you. something like that. i dont want to scare him off. and i think he is waiting 4 me to make the first move because obviosly we aren't getting anywhere. and all we do is text and e-mail each other, but i want to get to know him more.

Personally, I feel that you should dig deep and find your courage girl. I mean if you can't ask him if he likes you, what about later on if or when you get together?
If he didn't like you, chances are he wouldn't waste his time e-mailing you when he could be doing something else that boys uh, do. Whatever that is.
Anyway, if you can't find that courage to ask him I would call him rather than text him. However, if you do not feel comfortable a I suppose a text would be okay.
But c'mon girl, find your courage and be confident and ask him straight up!

yes if you have to but be careful its never a good idea to "ask someone out" via non talk. Also this might turn into more of a text message relationship rather than good one. If you really like him you should get up the courage to talk to him or else there is no point in liking him though

My lord, i have been in this exact situtation before, make your move girlll! Just text him and say something like "Would you ever date me?" or something like that, because then you aren't just like "HEY DO YOU LIKE MEEEE?!?" he might be like "Uh wow, i don't know what to sayyyy.." he may think it's a test or something. Just ask him kiddo, i'm sure he likes you. If he didn't like you he wouldn't be okay with only talking to you in texts, he'd want physical contact. Go for it! what's the worst that could happen? :]

Gurl this juzt happened to ma friend on Sunday. Ok, so she liked him and we told her to tell him she liked him but she wuz to scared so she waited to long. On sunday she told him she liked him and he said he wished he'd known be4 cuz he'd have gone wit her. He got a girl now and is the type of guy to keep a gurlfriend for months. So you should tell him now so diz don't happen to you

CONQUER YOUR FEAR!!!! Talk to him in person. Text messaging that is pretty cheesy. That's a bad to to start a soon to be over relationship. If you talk to him in person its better. If the relationship goes any further than you'll have to come together!

how did you get his email address and start writing to him? You might try walking up to him and say something you would email him. If he likes you he will talk to you. If not, stop the email and texting.
