...or just in Florida? I remember last year a small box would cost almost four bucks. Now I get them at Publix for half of that price. I'm not complaining, just curious.

I live in Michigan where blueberries grow abundantly when they are in season. During their peak you can pay 99 cents for a pint container, however it is winter here now and we have to ge tour fresh blueberries from other sources. I work in the produce dept. of a grocery store and currently our blueberries are being imported from Chile. You can expect to pay around $3.99 for a half-pint.

There wasn't a surplus in Maine this year (wild blueberries here). A few of the local farmers had good crops, and got fairly good prices compared to years past, but a lot of folks had very poor crops. Come visit Washington County, the "other" state of Maine!
