I am a lifelong Catholic. I went to Catholic school, served as an altar boy, and have been around priests all my life. Nothing happened, except that my spiritual life was greatly enriched by those priests. Not all priests are pedophiles. Children should be educated about inappropriate touching from ALL adults. Singling out priests is just ridiculous.

You don't need to. There are less priests that are a danger to children then men in general. The male population as a whole has a larger percentage of child molesters then Catholic priests.
Of course I imagine you prefer the fun of insulting preists more then you care about the truth.
There are more protestant clergy that molest children as well...but the Catholic church is a more popular scapegoat...in part because of it's size and the fact that it actually has the ability to be sued and held accountable.
I just saw a news show on tv covering a book that spotlighted the sexual abuse of kids by coaches...apparently it's a real problem...where is the public outcry??

First let me say that I am not Catholic. I think to suggest that all priests are a danger to children is incorrect. There are many good priests and it only takes a few to make all look bad. Children should be instructed on how to avoid dangerous situation with anybody not just a priest.

I treat everyone equally when it comes to my children. They are always supervised by me or my husband. Our priest has earned our trust like everyone else must who interacts with our kids. Priest is a title, just like teacher. Some are good, some are not. It is a parent's job to supervise their children and make good choices for them and their protection.
The Catholic church has made great improvements in this area. All adults, clergy, lay clergy and volunteers are required to attend Virtus training and youth are given age appropriate child protecting and safety classes twice a year.

Yawn, how amazingly up to date you are.
What a biting remark - 4 (?) years ago.
All the Priests I know are dedicated, decent men; and the nuns are the same being decent women.
Why not ask why so few humans are advanced enough to program their VCR? Few can spell VCR, and yet everyone has an opinion about people they do not know anything about.
Why is humanity still clinging to thousand year old stereotypes, and not living at the height of our potential.

Don't be a Catholic. Seriousely, Im not joking, they are scarey, they lead sooo many good people away from God. They are idol worshipping. They molest children. They make you confess your sins to a MAN. They are the best example of a false prophet, out all of them. PopeBenedict is working very hard to start his one world religion. He's meeting with the islamic high authority, and Russia's religious leader. Sure, their churches are pretty; but even satan can appear as an angel of light. If you truelly want to teach your child about God, why dont YOU teach your child. Renounce man made doctrines and rules, and only obey what the Bible says. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, is your counselor.

Give me a break! Catholic priests are no more prone to pedophilia than any other segment of the population including any other religious orders or professions.........why don't you find something else to bash?

You educate them on the world. Although it's not ideal to be telling kids so young about all things sexual, in this day and age they need to know that no one should touch them "there" and that it is ok to tell people if they do get "touched there"

I sense the undertones and overtones of your question. I just talk about child molestation.
