I have had an abcess before and i was given antibiotics by my Doctor. I was browsing the net about info on absesses when i found Echinacea tablets which apparently deal with swelling and bacterial infections etc. also i found some tablets called Serraplus.
Could anyone please tell me if any of these tablets work?

It never ceases to amaze me how eager Joe and Josephine Public are to throw their money at charlatans selling quack remedies. Nothing has changed since the middle ages.
Be happy with your lot, if you are keen to throw away your money, send it to a medical charity instead, at least that way there is is an outside chance someday you will benefit from it!

Most, if not all dental abcesses require some sort of physical treatment to totally cure them.
Even ordinary antibiotics do not cure an abcess, all they do is abate the symptoms for a while. The cause will still be there whether it is a decayed tooth or periodontal pocket.
take any tablets you want but thebest way top cure a dental abcess is to actually go and see a dentist and get some treatment.

No tablets will treat an abscess, only dental treatment to remove the root canal or remove the tooth will treat it! Tablets just relieve the symptoms for a short period of time.

Ive had abcess before. hate to stray from the question. 2-200mg Excedrin for adults works for the pain, jab a plastic toothpick in your gums right where it hurts, until it bleeds out. it works.....hurts like a *^&*% but instant relief before the pain makes you crazy
