I think that, depending on the "innermost secret", bringing it out into the open could cause you a lot of anguish instead of peace.

Only GOD can bring peace and he already know's your innermost secrets.You don't need to bring anything into the open for man.

Bringing your innermost secrets to a trustworthy brother that you have faith in will definately bring you peace.
We are only as sick as our secrets.
And just to keep the hormones honest and in balance.
Women should find a trust worthy partner of her own gender and men should find one of their own gender as well to share their innermost secrets.
And to the married folk don't share it with your spouse, it could be grounds for divorce. Be discreet choose with discretion, you don't want your dirty laundry part of tomorrows tabloid headlines.

No, but it does make you question them and ultimately answer the questions that were troubling you. You start to see them from anothers point of view. And you begin to realise that whatever secret you have does not only happen to you but to many others which is such a relief because others have got out of it and so can you. Secrets eat at your soul and can be destroying to you as an individual.

At first it brings discomfort, as one breaks down the walls that are built within us, in order to hide our secrets, even from ourselves. Yet, there are other things that the wall prevented us from seeing, and this brings the excitement of discovery. All of this cleansing does, eventually, bring a sense of being at ease, so the answer to your question is yes.

it depends - will you be hurting others in the process.if not find someone you can trust incase your inner secret is something you should share with just one person.that person will tell you the truth if they care about you.good luck and find your peace.
